What We Heard

Nangaq Idlout, Resolute Bay, Qikiqtani Truth Commission photo.
Truth, history and the emotions that remain inseparable from each are held within the words of the hundreds of Inuit who shared their memories with the Qikiqtani Truth Commission.
The Commission has prepared 13 short audio summaries of the issues and themes that resonated most strongly throughout our work, as expressed through the first-hand accounts of several witnesses who appeared before us at public hearings in Qikiqtani communities and beyond.
